Some people say dogs can’t see other dogs on TV.
Those people are wrong. Dog show on mute = Holly IN LOVE.
Holly seems to have discovered the correlation between trips to the coffee shop and delicious hand-baked dog treats.
When her mom got back from a trip to Mexico, Holly was excited.
When she got her gift, Holly was sad.
Holly cautiously regards the terrifying beasts* roaming the park.

I’m not normally in the business of LOL’ing Holly, but the look of utter terror on her face her (in response to a small electronic walking toy poodle) really called for it.
Step 1: Holly spends three hours playing with a pug friend.
Step 2: Peace and quiet the rest of the day.
And this is the face that says “thanks so much for taking me out to the park, I had a great time playing and, oh, you’re probably going to need to carry me home”.
Holly spends a lot of time giving me this look, which translates as I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS AND IT’S MADDENING.
Holly relaxes on her birthday, confident in the wisdom and experience that comes with being a year old. And then later, she ate the squeaker out of a new toy.
